As we set out last Friday, lo behold, we were amazed by a sight that took me completely by surprise and was spellbound!
We saw the sight of the great Rift Valley, which runs some 6000 km from Mozambique in the South of Africa all the way upto to Jordan in the West of Asia.
Great Rift ValleyAn amazing sight, the cradle of all civilization as it is said to be...
The views were breathtaking and although it was a cloudy day, we could still see the great mountains of Kenya in the distance...

Another fascinating subject that got me thinking about the evolution of mankind is the National Geographic Genographic project. This traces the history of mankind and it's evolution over the ages. I volunteered for it and the results are astounding... The other amazing thing is science is now proving linkages about human kind, which the Ancient Indian texts used to talk about and are referred to widely as well.
Makes my admiration levels go up for both science today and the minds of the ancient Indian world... and the curiouser (if there ever is such a word) it gets...

A valley formed by volcanic eruptions.... |
Running for miles together.... |
At all of 7062 feet, with one of the Homo Sapiens species who seems to have evolved at last.... :) |
