Home base for our assignment in Kenya
Today we learned that our team will be staying at the Country House Inn, which is in the nice Karen area just a bit west of the Nairobi city centre. The Karen area is named after Karen von Blixen-Finecke (Karen Blixen), the Danish author who wrote Out of Africa (1937) which became a movie (1985).
We feel very fortunate to be staying near Nairobi centre because last year the CSC team had to often commute 3-hours one-way from Nyeri for meetings and work sessions.
